Post by: Hiten Parmar on August 14, 2001, 09:22:38 AM
How can I access the E-smith-manager from outside of the local network?
Is it possible?

NO. And you shouldn't either.

Use SSH (I use Putty www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ from a W2K machine). Login as admin and you get the admin console. All functions are available via the built in text browser.

Hiten,
Another method for admin'ing the box remotely via a secure connections
is via an SSH port forwarding method.
