Title: MTU settings

If anybody nows, can somebody please tell me where about the ' mtu ' settings are stored for a 56k dial connection. I need to bring these down from 1500.
I have belive that it was /etc/ppp/options, but no listing.

Hi,

I may be wrong, butu I believe you can change them with "ifconfig" at the command line. look it up in the manual. You can change setting on any of your network interfaces with that command.
