Title: Webmail
Post by: Iain Jones on December 28, 2000, 10:50:15 AM
Hi Guys,
You've probably heard this question a million times...but I've searched past postings and cannot find a ref.
How do I set Up Webmail?
I have the latest version of E-Smith V4.1.
Also, how do I make the server act like an NT 4.0 PDC?
THanks in Advance.
Iain

I go to the address as the www.yourdomain.com takes me outside instead of hitting the server.
No webmail to be seen.
My vrsion is 4.0.1

try http://www.e-smith.mydomain.com/webmail or http://192.168.1.1/webmail,  replace the ip address with how yours is setup.

OK. In your first post you said that you had e-smith 4.1, 4.1 is in beta 2 stage, and has integrated webmail.

If you have 4.01 then you will have to install webmail. There are instructions on the site somewere, but i was un able to find them.

Many thanks to you all.
I have only one question left....sorry.
As I'm a complete newbie....The article that was posted mentioned that i needed to download some files before installation...
How and where do I install them from the E-Smith Server...or do I do it from the workstations and save it on the server?
Thanks in Advance,
Iain
