Title: 4.1.2 upgrade
Post by: Serge Dutremble on August 20, 2001, 07:13:23 AM
I initially installed E-SMITH 4.1.1 then upgraded to 4.1.2.

The problem is that the console still states I am running version 4.1.1!

Is this correct?  How can I verify that I am really upgraded to 4.1.2.

I need to do this before I can do the IMP security update.

Thanks,

Serge.

I had no reply on my initial question.

Anyone?

Serge.

Try 'rpm -q e-smith-release'

Just thought I'd let you know that I upgraded a 4.1.2 machine to V5 today, and when it rebooted the console was still showing the old "e-smith 4.1.2" banner on the screen.  No biggie, V5 is installed and functioning - but that's sort of weird.
