Title: Mac printing to HP Laser Jet...
Post by: Steven on August 20, 2001, 07:19:46 PM
I have searched w/out success.
I have a HP 3150 Laser all-in-one printer connected to my e-smith. My Win pc are printing fine, however I would like to print to it from my iMac and iBook.
Does anyone have advice?

Well this might be oversimplifying it, but with that printer you can't.  There are no mac drivers, so is not supported by the macintosh. So can't print to it.

So, if I had Mac drivers for my HP 610C, how would  I have to install it? There is a driver for Ethertalk-Networks. Is this the same as Appletalk Networks. I have an ethernet-BNC-Adapter inside my MAC.

What you need is an HP printer that understands postscript. If it doesn't then you'll be entering a world of pain.
All the best,
