Title: Port 25 blocked by ISP
Post by: vince on August 31, 2001, 04:20:38 PM
Hello

My ISP is blocking port 25, so mail can't reach my mailserver. Is there any way that I can bypass this, for example by using an other port.

Thanks

Since the mail is coming in on port 25, no, changing ports at your end won't help.
You will need to change your mail host to one that can accept mail and then use the mail retrieval option in the e-smith manager to collect mail from that server using multidrop or ETRN.
