Hi,
I was following through Gordons HOW-TO re: ezmlm install and all appeared to go OK, saw the hash install symbols etc and reboot all OK.
When I use the manager, however, nothing new appears.
Tried this twice, no luck.
I tried to uninstall the packages using rpm -e but both came up as not being installed. What am I doing wrong here ?
Cheers

Are you sure you installed both the rmps?
Did you do the /sbin/e-smith/signal-event post-upgrade
and /sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot after the installs?
Gordon has a new rpm out which includes virtual domain support,
were you using that or the previous rpm? BTW I wrote the HOWTO -
please don't lumber Gordon with responsibility for any errors in
it :-)

Opps, sorry Graeme about the credit for the HOW-TO-mind not quite with it yesterday.
Yes in regards to your questions. I have picked the rpms straight from your contirb. directory on the ftp. Today I downloaded them againand reburnt them onto a CD for transfer (has worked fine thus far with .rpms ) in case problem was the result of corrupt files.
Ran the commands as listed, saw the hash symbols, system rebooted and midway through reboot, a screen pops up saying configs are being updated. Then when system is loaded, I check the manager from another PC but still nothing new-tried refreshing the page, rebooting etc but still stubbornly refuses to install.
I have installed many of the other contribs fine and they appear in the manager OK - possible one of those is the cause ?
Thank you for your help.

Tried the rpm -e command but files still not installed according to the server

OK, egg on my face, turned out I had downloaded the .src.rpms instead of the noarch and i386 rpms, all fine now, thanks Graeme.
