Title: regular dial ups not requestd

since i installed my e-smith server there are regular short dial ups to my ISP that last for 10 minutes at a time and only result in a few bytes (300 to 400 typically) being down loaded and uploaded. these connections can happen as many as 10 times a day and at any time of the day and usually a short time apart, 10 - 30 minutes.

Can anyone help with this?

I am experiencing the same thing.  Mostly during the night I think can't remember.. but I get as many as 10 calls per day which generally last only 30 or 60 seconds... while the other computers on the network are off! As you can guess this is screwing with the phone bill quite majorly :)
