Title: find out hardware configuration

Hi,

May I know how can i find out below hardware configuration in E-Smith:

1)computer Speed like Pentium and RAM

2)network card brand

3)display card brand

4)Hardisk storage



pls kindly provide the command for me to check

Reboot your computer and check out the stats when loading CMOS :-)

or,

check /var/log/messages and/or /var/log/boot for relevant information.

OR try dmseg | more  at the command line-more sys info than you can shake a stick at.

Correction sorry....  Its actually "dmesg"
Should be far more information than you require !

Or try "df" just for disk information

hi,

i want find out the hardware brand like display card and network card

how can i check it ?

besides that i also want to check the PC speed like Pentium ? and RAM ?

will the command dmesg but i try to man dmesg it didnt show the information that i need

pls assist
