Title: Dial-in as a internal network
Post by: Allan Pearce on September 26, 2001, 05:13:30 AM
Re:- e-smith version 4.1.2

We are using e-smith without problems as a web and mail server with the external web connection via a modem on ttys0.

Tried to setup a dial-in modem without success using instructions from redhat as e-smith is based on it.

Would anyone know where I could find setup instruction in relation to e-smith for an internal dial-in on ttys1 with ttys0 external.

Thanks in advance and best regards

Your first stop should be the contributed HOWTOs.  Get to it by navigating from www.e-smith.org and following the documentation link.  There is a rpm contribution there that set's up dialin.

Does the contrib'd RPM work with 4.1.2?  with 5.0?

If so, it's just what we're looking for,,,
