Post by: Sid on September 26, 2001, 05:43:31 AM
Hello,

I've upgraded to v5 and Awstats will not show any graphics.
Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks

Download and upgrade the RPM on Darrell's site:

http://www.myezserver.com/downloads/mitel/e-smith-awstats-2.24.1-B3.noarch.rpm

Worked for me...

I had the same problem on a clean sme5 install.
Everything has been OK  after I linked awstats directory from /etc/e-smith/web/panels/manager/html to /home/e-smith/files/primary/html.

Tibor,

How do you link those directory?
I have remove and reinstalled the awstats and it did not fix the problem.

Thanks for your help

The simplest way is to copy the entire awstats directory from /etc/e-smith/web/panels/manager/html (together with all subdirectories) to /home/e-smith/files/primary/html. Then set the permission on the copied awstats directory to 750 and ownership to root/admin so it is not accessible from outside network.

Hi Tibor,

I just tried your solution, as I thought that would be THE solution :) I don't want to copy the directory's so it has to be done with a link.

Did you make a symbolic link or a hard link??

I typed the following command:

ln -s /home/e-smith/files/primary/html /etc/e-smith/web/panels/manager/html

The properties of the missing graphics in awstats refer to http://www.mydomain.com/awstats/other/filename.xxx, which is the same as /home/e-smith/files/primary/html/awstats.

The original images can be found in /etc/e-smith/web/panels/manager/html/awstats

That's why I created this symbolic link. But....the graphics don't show up now?!

Do you know a solution for this?? I don't want to copy because a link should fix it.

TIA,

Timothée
