Title: disabling qmail/imap/smtpd

hello!

because i want to try teamware (www.teamware.com) on an e-smith server i need to free up port 25, 110 and 143 - so i need to stop qmail, imapd and smtpfwd(?).

but i'm just not able to do it... nor does a "/etc/init.d/qmail stop" do it, nor the deletion of S80qmail from /etc/rc7.d and a reboot. i still can telnet into port 25 and 110. the same applies to the imapd's port 143...

what do i do wrong?
