I want use smtp-auth at e-smith 4.11 . How to do it .

Is there any chance of having an SMTP server which needs a username and password, so that we don't have to mess around with checking email twice and stuff like that. (I can cope with it, but some other people who use the account have difficulty).

My post is abandon smtpfw and put qmail + smtp-auth patch to work
but i need help to do it
