Title: dyndns.org got blocked for abuse
Post by: steve macgregor on October 02, 2001, 05:10:25 PM
I just got blocked this morning from dyndns.org for excessive updating. I searched the forums for an answer, but really never saw one that would work. I think I did see an RPM somewhere in the ftp contribs, but im not sure about it. Is there an update rpm to solve this problem? I am running 4.12, not 5. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,

steve

The script in 4.1.2 should not attempt to update dyndns database
unless it the IP has actually changed.  You need to examine your
logs closely to see what has been happening to make it post
too frequently.
