Post by: Steven Lewis on October 14, 2001, 12:08:45 PM
How does one get the port # of the individual ibays we have created.
Thanks!

Port? As in the http & ftp ports?
(If so then they all exist by default on the normal http and ftp ports).

Thanks Luke,

I am aware that HTTP is served via port 80. What I didn't know was, if the different ibays that one may create for websites etc. have their own port #.

I recently installed IDSL which uses an Efficient Networks 5800 router that allows ports 80, 25 and 110 through. My website is in an ibay (www.absolutenettech.com/nuke/index.php) not the primary, however the primary ibay is the one fetched even if the above URL is used.

I have plans to open the router up and use my SME V5 in gateway mode. But I wanted to serv from an old server until my new server with SME V5 is set up with new website etc.

Any thougts.
