Title: editing a template

is there a howto for editing templates?

I need to manually add some search and doman ifo to resolve.conf as SME 5.
how does one get such info?

I can't remember where the official text hides but you should be able to alter the process shown in http://e-smith.org/bboard/read.php?f=3&i=7921&t=7911 to your needs.
