Title: keyboard config

I'm a belgian user that just has set up the e-smith server.
i have a little prob... (just a bit annoying).
i'm working with an azerty keyboard, but the server is configured with a qwerty keyboard. I'd like to change this ... but how ... i must admit i'm a complete newbie what linux concearns...

Try to change it with kbdconfig in the /usr/sbin directory. You must be root to change the keyboard settings.

/usr/sbin/kbdconfig

Then a console comes up where you can change the keybord settings.

edit /etc/sysconfig/keyboard

Living in France, I just changed the original KEYTABLE="us" by KEYTABLE="fr-latin1" and it works fine.

This modification might not be kept by the backup/restore process.
