Title: Zope
Post by: Rich on October 29, 2001, 03:05:08 AM
Anyone installed Zope [http://www.zope.org] and python [http://www.python.org] on an E-smith server?

I have installed all the programs/files listed at:

http://www.e-smith.org/faq.php3#8q7

But i cannot get python to compile :-( it complains about a bad gcc/glibc setup.

Any help would be gratefully received.

go to http://www.taupro.com/Downloads/Zope and get the zserver RPMs there, you don't need to compile them by hand. After installing them, have a look at the zserver.sh file under /var/zope and change the -w value to 8000 ...this did work for me..
