Chaloner, I am also looking at e-commerce solutions. I noticed in a earlier post you spoke of the theexchangeproject.org. How was that open source e-commerce system? I have downloaded the files but have not had the time ti install and test. I hope to do so on the weekend. Thanks in advance...

I am currently running the Exchange Project on E-Smith 4.1.2 and feel that it works ok.

There is some coding required to configure the site but limited documentation does a good enough job to help you through it.

I have not implimented Credit cards or SSL yet but they are on the list to do.

In general I would say that The Exchange provides a good base to start a site, but expect to do some customisation to get it how you want it.

There is a review of TEP here ;

Hi,

I am trying to install Interchange on  5.0... I used the rpm binaries. Do i have to change something in the httpd.conf ?
