Hi!
It often happens (about 1/8 of all administrative actions) that e.g. while creating new ibays through the SME Server Manager httpd crashes and I have to manually restart httpd through the shell! After restarting I can create the Ibay with exactly the same entries and it works. This is really buggy!!!!
Version: SME Server 5.0 with Upgrade 2
Anybody else with that (who propably has a solution) ??
Thanks,
Matthias

Same problem in SME V5 with Upgrade 2. I found that it occurred creating ibays, user accounts, groups.
Not knowing much about why, I limited changes in the server manager to 6 or less, closed the session, then started another. This partially helped, but when it crashed the httpd service, I rebooted the SME Server.
Maybe this should be posted as a bug !!

Don't know if it's any comfort.....same happens here. Didn't find a solution.

I have gotten this on two of my SME5 servers as well.
The Apache /var/log/httpd/error_log file showed
"notice SIGUSR1 received. Doing graceful restart."
Unfortunately no restart. I just rebooted.

I have a solution...
~~~~~~~~~~~DON"T UPGRADE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and it will work fine.
