Title: Kernel Sources
Post by: Kelvin on November 11, 2001, 07:11:47 AM
OK, I've decided I'm actually going to try this ....

Does anyone know where I can get the SME (Redhat) kernel source

kernel-source-2.2.19-7.0.8.i386.rpm

as identified in Darrell May's how-to ? All links I've found point to dead ends.

Anybody ?

BTW, where can I find that dammed .config file? I have seen many times in the list that ESGS 4.1.2 uses an stock RH 7.0 kernel, and that they use the standar .config file but I can't find that file. In what rpm file is included? (src, headers, which one??

  Thanks for your time

source rpm.....

a config for each supported cpu/arch configuration, see
kernel-2.x.x-{-smp}.config, use whichever is relevant, probably only i686, i686-smp in your case, but who knows...
