Title: email and upgrade

I have e-smith 4.0.  Does 4.1 allow separate accounts for different domains? eg jsmith@primarydomain.com and jsmith@virtualdomain.com?

Also, can I install e-smith 4.1 (when its completed) over my e-smith 4.0 and not lose anything?

e-smith 4.1 has not been released - it is in late Beta test stage.

Not out of the box. There is one user community, so that jsmith is always
jsmith in all aspects of the system - HTTP, Samba, email.

It is, however easy to customise e-smith 4.1 to allow this to happen if you
really want to. This should be discussed on the developer mailing list.

Yes (when it is released), though a backup is always advisable during a
major system upgrade.
