Title: Tape Drive

Hi all,

Have anyone successfully installed a tape drive which is not documented in the user guide?

I would like to install a tape drive but those specified in the user guide can no longer be found.

What tape drive do you plan to install?

I would be surprised if you find *ANY* SCSI-drive that would not function correctly....

oh just a normal scsi tape drive.

If i install a new model hp or compaq tape drive SME V5 will be able to detect it correctly.

I am worried that i might not be able to detect thats all.

I can assure you that, at least HP's tape drives are detected correctly....
