Title: ISDN T/A
Post by: Robert Field on December 13, 2001, 07:14:53 PM
Can any one recommend the best ISDN terminal adapter or router that will work with SME5, I have tried an Eicon T/A with out much joy and I am now trying a (borrowed) Cisco 800 router but would prefer to use a T/A due to cost

Thanks

Hi,

I use the Hayes Accura ISDN T/A, and it just works straight out of the box, it plugs into a standard 9 pin serial port, and costs about £140 you can get them from PC World and www.jungle.com also stock them;

Kind Regards,
Rob.

Hi,

Maybe you want to wait for version SME 5.1. It' getting close and has native support for passive (cheap) ISDN cards.

I'm using the isdn from 5.1beta3 at the moment, and if you can read this, than it must be working  ;-)

I run this on an elsa isdn-pci card from pcworld...
