Title: FTP

I am running a SME 5 server. I can not FTP into my server via IE. I am on the same network with a smothwall between me and the server. Am I doing something wrong or can this just not be done?

It can't be done with the default configuration of Smoothwall, but it's easy to make it happen.  You need to set up TCP port forwarding from your Smoothwall to your SME box IP address on ports 20 & 21

It's in Services/Port forwarding on the Smoothwall.

I have already done that. It still don't work. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

From what I have heard, FTP will not work correctly when you port forward to
it.
