Hi,
Does anyone know of a way to configure AWStats so that handles unresolved IPs the same way it handles resolved addresses? For instance, with WebTrend, I have can view full visit history, even for unresolved IPs --- but with AWStats, it displays unresolved IPs on a separate page, WITHOUT detailed Pages/Hits/Bytes information.
This just doesn't make any sense at all to me. Simply because an IP address cannot be resolved to a host name does not make the details of that guest's visit any less important. Manually reversing the IPs for netblock info can still give valuable information, like country of origin, etc --- and if someone from an unresolved IP is regularly sucking my site down or mirroring it, it would handy to know.
Anyone know of a way to make AWStats do this? There don't appear to be directives addressing this in the awstats.conf...
