Title: VeriSign and SSL
Post by: n/a on January 04, 2002, 08:30:31 PM
How can my users avoid the popup box that says that the certificate does not have a root when they connect to their webmail?

I know that I need a certificate from Thawe or Verisign, but I'm not sure how to tie it into the esmith server.  Has anybody tried this?

Verisign has a 14-day FREE trial, if anybody wants to test and report back to me.

Thanks!

You may have to check in /etc/e-smith/events/actions/mod_ssl otherwise it will keep making temp certs over and over.
