Title: duplicating e-mail
Post by: Frank Dias on January 07, 2002, 05:49:32 AM
I would like to know if it isd possible to duplicate all email that arrives for an account to be send to another account. I have an email account that my assistant needs to also get a copy of all the e-mail.

Yes you can.

In the e-smith manager, when you bring up the properties of the account whose mail you want to duplicate, there is an entry for your mail where it is normally set to deliver mail locally. You can change this to forward to someone else and deliver locally as well.

If you can change the address used for sending, it might be better to create a group in e-smith and put everyone who should receive a copy in the group.  E-smith automatically creates a mailing list for each group where the address is the name of the group.  This might be easier to manage than forwarding real accounts to multiple addresses.
