Hello, out there !
I've just setup my e-smith server in my local network. internet works fine, but i got another problem: I installed e-smith on my server on a primary linux-partition and I have got 3 fat32-drives in the extended-partition. Now I would like to access those windows-partitions from any computer within the LAN (Multi OS.... win98, win2k &XP) How can I do that and how can I set security-options like "who can access which directories on the server"?.
Please help
Greetings, Locutus

Just one question...
Did you create those FAT32 partitions after you got E-Smith installed ?

Hi ! Well, no, I created them before. Actually I figured out how to handle those Info-Bays and it worked out ok. The only prob remaining is I still can't access them from win98. But that's not sooo important and perhaps I'll get it on time. ;-)
But thanks for your notice.

Are you saying you have (had?) data in those extended partitions that you now wish to access? AFAIK e-smith completely wipes out EVERYTHING on the hard disk to which it's installed, partitions & all, and sets up the entire hard disk for its own use.
