Title: Adding a netmask in diald
Post by: Dean Brandt on February 04, 2001, 02:50:05 PM
Hi, I want to ensure that my ppp0 interface sits on a netmask of 255.255.255.224 rather than the default of 255.255.255.255

I edited /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/diald.conf and added:

netmask "255.255.255.224" tot hat file. I then did the console-save routine but the ppp0 interface still has a /32 mask. Am i editing the right file?

Thanks
