How can I change the permissions on my FTP server running E-Smith 4.1.2?
I don't want anyone to be able to delete any files, and it seems to be set to full control right now. Not a good thing...
Thanks,
Eric

Which folder are you refering to ? the primary or an Ibay.
by default only Admin as write/delete ect on the primary/ files/folder
everyone else has read only
on an Ibay, you can select read{everyone} write{admin} in the ibays propreties. or some other combination as it suit's you.

I created an account named "ftpuser" and when "ftpuser" logs on via FTP accross the web, it is giving full control to the person who logged on.
Is there a way to do a chmod?
I want certain permissions on certain folders in the "home" directory on FTP.
Thanks :)
