I have a problem which I suspect may have started a while ago already, but I only noticed recently. For some reason webmail access is not allowed for any new user account I create. When I tail /var/log/messages while trying to do a webmail login I get the following error:
**********************************************************************************************
Jan 15 07:50:35 mail imapd[3424]: PAM-listfile: Refused user philipp for service
imap
***********************************************************************************************
Now when I add the account manually to the /etc/e-smith/pam/users.allow the problem is solved, but why is this not done when I create the account through
the manager anymore?
I might just add that I've successfully created about 150 email accounts with no problems as far as webmail access is concerned, but for some reason any new accounts I create have this problem.
Someone please help!
Regards
Jaun
