I just noticed that the $PATH variable in my e-smith 4.1.2 returns a string with several repetitions. Is this normal or is there a simple explanation?

My path is...

/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/root/bin
