Title: VPN & MS 2000 Server (Domain Controller)
Post by: SniperG on January 17, 2002, 10:09:52 PM
Can anyone help me out with this?

I have the March SME5 in the Server & Gateway mode. It is running as a friewall & DHCP server. And hopefully a VPN server (Connection). I can connect no problem ! Great ! But..... then what ?? I can't see anything on the Windblows network (Server or any clients). Is there something obvious I am missing ??

Let me know if I have missed any important information you need to help me.

Thanks in advance

PS..

Would it be easier to set up routing and remote access services on the w2k box and just port forward ???

Btw ..Which ports would need to be forwarded ...rem its the win2k vpn server if I do it this way...

Firstly, you need to add the Win2K server into your SME hostnames. Then you will be able to "view" the Win2K box from your remote location.
