Hi, All.
Background:
I have several domains registerd that I do not make any money from. Like my familiy name, a business name that never got used and so on (all com net and org of course.) Now I am looking to use e-smith for www and email, and hopefully save some money on hosting.
Situation:
At home I have a cable connection (521/128kbs but easy to upgrade) that uses DHCP, and a small home lan set up with e-smith. Everything is working nicely and dyndns is up and running (myserver.dyndns.org)
Problem:
Pointing several REAL domains to the e-smith server via the dyndns MyDynDNS service (or some other free alternative, suggestions anyone?) AND getting EMAIL to work. My internal hostname is server.svensrud.lan and the external hostname is kundeXXX.alfanett.no. Of course it's only possible to change the first. How do I get the e-smith sever to service email to svensrud.com, svensrud.net, brainforg.com and so on?
Regards Thomas

If you use a service like no-ip your mx records automatically co-incide with your ip address and your email will be delivered to your location.
