Title: External acces
Post by: Denny Beer on January 25, 2002, 07:54:20 PM
Who know howto give the hole internet acces to the user-manager?
I know there is a howto but i must specify a range of ip numbers.
But how can i type all the ip adresses that exist on internet?

I really don't have a clue.

Please help me out.

A slightly easier and more secure way to provide external access to your admin pages is to:

  - create a new password protected IBay with script execution permissable.
  - Install the CGI-Proxy script from www.jmarshall.com (and remove the 'localhost' restriction setting) into it

This way you have two levels of password protection and you're able to use it over an SSL connection for even better security.

Luke

Luke,

Newbie questions.  What is the html used to call the cgi?  Do I have to chmod the cgi?

Thanks - jeff
