Hi!
i followed the guide at:
http://www.helmuth.net/mitel-sme/Tomcat/tomcat-howto.htm
And that resulted in:
[root@linux02 bin]# /etc/rc.d/rc7.d/S80tomcat3 start
Starting tomcat3: [ OK ]
But i can't access http://myserver:8080
Somebody have an idear what could be wrong, or a idear in what log files i need to look in ?

Hey Daniel, sorry it is not working out.
1) The log files are in:
/var/log/tomcat/tomcat.log (others in the directory as well.)
2) Also if you do a:
ps -ef | grep tomcat
you should see several processes that are started by the "tomcat" user. Do you see those? If you don't see those, I would re-booting the SME server and try it. I can give no good reason, but sometimes I have had trouble getting Tomcat to start clean after install. However, he comes up after a re-boot.
Give those a try, and please let me know how it goes for you.
Thanks!!!!!

Hi! David.
Thanks for youre answer, i gave my PC the shoot, and restartet the esmith =) i has been restarted for many!!!! monts now =) E-smith rules =) and TomCat does the job now..
But is there a guide to get .jsp into apache on esmith ??
I use e-smith to a webserver in a hosting company, hosting over 150 domains, and is look very stupid that all who want to use .jsp need to upp to a special dir. and access the files with domain.dk:8080/domain/file.jsp =)
But Thanks again
David =) u safed my day!
