For some reason UserDir pages dont work.
I get this error;
You don't have permission to access /~magnus/ on this server.
However I checked the permissions all the way to root and al lthe directories are r_x for world/all and the index.htm file is also r__r__r__ so I'm at a loss.
Has this happened to anyone else?
What else might I check to resolve this?
Thanks for your help.

Use your e-smith manager (e-bays). Cause that will change the settings in your httpd.conf.
So... it is not a directory permission problem... but httpd.conf doesn't allow it.
Check your e-bay settings again of ~magnus.

But its not an i-bay, the command UserDir in httpd.conf refers to dir home/public_html in each users homearea. I cant see why this doesnt work, its a standard apache parameter...
