Title: lost email - help urgently needed

my e-smith box is downloading emails from a few different ISPs, all was working fine up until this morning - now nothing is arriving in my mail box even though it is downloading from the ISPs!

even if i send an email to myself it never arrives, excerpt from log below:
Feb  5 14:39:47 neon smtpfwdd[1640]: forwarding to recipient dave@.....co.uk
Feb  5 14:39:47 neon smtpfwdd[1640]: smtpdXlrHW8 forwarded to 1 recipients

but is doesn't arrive, any ideas would be appreciated.

Just a quick response:

Did you check your root mailbox '/home/e-smith/Maildir/new' ?
