Title: How to change keymap?

Hi!

I need to change the keymap because I´m using a german keyboard. Can someone help me please?

Login as root
loadkeys de-latin1-nodeadkeys

To save the change across reboots, edit /etc/sysconfig/keyboard and replace
"us"
with
"de-latin1-nodeadkeys"

Thanks for your help!

It´s much better now to work with e-smith. I´m using SuSE-Linux for my working-pc and the configuration is different to RedHat.
