Hi,

I am trying to install samba 2.2.3a but I need samba-common, where can I found it ?

We don't need samba-common when installing on sme 5.1.2.

Just use :

rpm -Uvh --nodeps --force samba-2.2.3a*.i386.rpm

I'am using samba 2.2.3a for redhat 7.2 w/o any problem.
