I have just upgraded to 5.1.2 and was surprised to see that it has no vfat kernal support.
I had a second Fat32 HDD mounted in one of the ibays for commonly shared files, I wanted it Fat32, so I could remove it, and modify the contents on a Win2k Machine.
My Question - Is it possible to add kernal support for vfat file systems on 5.1.2 ?
Cheers

I thought there was vfat support in all kernels supplied with e-smith.
ie.
/lib/modules/2.2.19-7.0.8/fs/vfat.o
/lib/modules/2.2.19-7.0.8smp/fs/vfat.o
try "modprobe vfat" without the quotes
