Title: Dial out number

G'day,

Does anyone know where the phone number is kept for the ppp connection?

I figure it has to be in a file somewhere, probably a chat file(?)....

I NEED to change the number via a file, not the interface.

Hi,

The Number is stored in a ppp connect script,
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/chat-ppp0


You will need to edit the template aswell,
/etc/e-smith/templates/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/chat-ppp0/30dialup
