Post by: Charles on February 14, 2002, 01:14:22 PM
Hi there,

I have a small question. Is there a script for deleting old logfile's ?
Files are linked to others and in /var/log logfiles it shows up like this :

---cut---
Feb  1 01:12 spooler.20020208011207 -> spooler.20020201011208
Feb  1 01:12 secure.20020208011207 -> secure.20020201011208
Feb  1 01:12 messages.20020208011207 -> messages.20020201011208
Feb  1 01:12 messages.20020129011207
Feb  1 01:12 maillog.20020208011207 -> maillog.20020201011208
Feb  1 01:12 cron.20020208011207 -> cron.20020201011208
Feb  1 01:12 boot.log.20020208011207 -> boot.log.20020201011208
Feb  1 01:12 spooler.20020201011208
Feb  1 04:02 xferlog
0 Feb  1 04:02 mysqld.log
Feb  1 04:42 adslusage.log

Greetings,

Charles
