Title: SME High Availability (Cluster)

I have posted a new [DRAFT] How-To for High Availabilty on SMEv5.1.2.

I noticed that several people had a look at it and I'm wondering....

Just wondering if you gave it a try, read the How-To, have some questions, have an opinion, could't figure out some part(s) or looked at it and thought ' my god that's too much for me right now', uuh?, first impression.....

ANY comment form ANYbodyis welcome! I do need some help on several issues!
(dev-info, please read it and give us your feed-back)

I've been testing it now for the last couple of days and it gives me GOOD results. For my 'mother' language is not English, I would appreciate any corrections/suggestions to the How-To. And I too think the layout is bad, but it'll do for now. Priority for now is to get it stable (I have it but what about you guys) and then we will give 'cosmetics' attention...

The next (major) update of the [DRAFT] How-To will follow soon. Due to the feed-back from some of the 'try-guys' :-)

please drop a posting. (or drop me an e-mail but then the forum can't learn from it.)

Services are already done. Just figuring out which (config) files to mirror so changes on server 1 are mirrored to server 2. (user accouts, home dir's and /etc/...fliles.

I have followed your how to, up to & including step 8, and have now hit a problem;
(I followed the HOW-TO EXACTLY, including names, IP addresses.)

When I try to establish the mirror between the two servers ;
/etc/rc.d/init.d/drbd start

I get the following error message;

“drbd: This host is not mentioned until line 38 at /etc/rc.d/init.d/drbd line 152, line 38.”

Any idea’s??
