Title: Routing public IP's
Post by: Jean-Guy on February 20, 2002, 03:02:19 AM
I was wondering if I can add a third netword card to my E-smith box and use it as a DMZ?
I want to map 205.150.199.8x(public) -> 10.98.2.8x (DMZ)

I have this config from my ISP
207.176.134.33 = IP
207.176.134.32 = Gateway
255.255.255.252 = netmask

Then this IP range
205.150.199.80/29 = IP range
255.255.255.248 = mask
205.150.199.87 = broadcast

I want to be able to use the 205.xxx addresses to run servers? Is this possible ? I don't have a router only my E-smith box direct to a ADSL modem.

Thanks
Jean-Guy

I also would like to route an external IP address to an internal IP address on my network to run another server.  Please email me also if something comes available to allow me to do this.
