Title: Dual CPU motherboard and LILO
Post by: brad on February 15, 2001, 09:25:02 PM
I've got a S1562 dual CPU motherboard, but only one CPU socket and CPU. Yet, E-Smith detects the other CPU - thus I get this LILO (e-smith menu) selection on boot:

1. e-smith
2. e-smith up

The e-smith (SMP) kernel is default, but will not load completely. How do I make the uni-processor kernel (#2) be default? So I can reboot from a distance...

thanks,

brad

Change the "default" line in /etc/lilo.conf, and run the command:

/sbin/lilo
