Hi:
I have been trying to apply the php fix blade to my server (5.1.2)
I receive this message:
Current list of blades
An error occurred while fetching the list of available blades
Could not receive data from blades server
Your current list of blades will be displayed.
Last updated: Fri Mar 8 19:53:17 2002
Supported blades
Blade Description Status
SMEServer-5.1.2_Update1 SMEServer v5.1.2 Update 1 Install
etc...
and when i try to install there is a problem fetching the licence info.
does anyone have this problem?
could anyone hel me to solve this,
manually installing the rpms i have many dependences, and I'm not sure to skip them with nodeps option..
thanks in advance

I have been trying for 3 days and I get the same ting ....i dont believe its a bandwidth problem .. i think somethings wrong with the server otherwise it would connect atleast once in 50 times ??
I tried to just install the files but it told me that /etc/php.ini was in use and that the new install created a /etc/php.ini.rpmnew file, which is ok except that none of the extensions in the new file were loaded so I guess I will keep trying to see what the final result should be.
Good Luck

It Could be as simple as a port issue. are you behind a firewall that has the port closed to the internet. Im having the same trouble but cant seem to locate the port number thats blades uses to open and test theory. Im sitting behind a Linux Firewall / Gateway. Help Anyone

Actually my server is conected right to the internet, so..... could be closed a port from my sme server? could it be closed by an aborted blade installation, I really dont know bu seems to be a traffic trouble with the blades server, at least in my case...

It appears that Mitel is limiting blade updates to their customers who pay for blade updates, etc.
They are recommending that you update via FTP.
There are huge delays because the Mitel NOC can't keep up. Wait until all the paying customers get their blades, then they may open it up for the rest of you.

Alejandro,
I am also from Argentina. Is posible to contact by personal email. I want to ask you (if is posible) more details about your "by hand" upgrade.
Thank you very much in advance
