Title: flatbed scanner server

Has anyone tried to setup a scsi flatbed scanner on SME and have it serve it out to the LAN? Possibly using a web based front end? If so, how did you do it? Any ideas?

I haven^t tried it myself yet, but as far as i know all you need is to proberly install SANE  on SME.
Next you can either use special TWAIN Drivers (sorry cant find the URL)for your Windows Clients in order to scan or you can scan via webbrowser (needs script on SMEs Apache. Just have a look at :
