Title: IDE TAPE: /dev/nst0: Input/output error
Post by: DINCLAUX Laurent on March 13, 2002, 06:20:52 AM
When i try to acces my ide tape drive under SME5.1.2, I've got
/dev/nst0: Input/output error

If I take the tape of:
/dev/nst0: Input/output error

So it is well recognized by SME
It was working well before on SME 5.0. But because the tape stopped to work and because i've tried to install a lot of différent rpm and compil staff and 5.1.2 have been released; i've decided to do a fresh install of SME 5.1.2.

But that didn't resolved my backup problem ...

PLEASE HELP !

PS:Excuse my poor english as I am french spoken.
